The juniper room is a medina room located on the roof terrace of our riad spice. Cosy and practical, this room can comfortably sleep two people with a queen size bed or two single beds. The nigella room is located on the terrace of riad Spice. This is the only room at riad spice which has a private kitchenette. The room is suitable for a couple or two friends and the sofa bed can be made into an extra bed suitable for a 3rd person. The saffron room is a fantastic suite located on the first floor of our riad spice overlooking the pool. The dome shaped ceiling combined with the hand made Moroccan lamps create a feeling of peace and calmness. The room features an open fireplace. The sofa bed in the sitting room can take two people ( either one queen size or two singles) and the main sleeping area can comfortably sleep another two, making this suite great for families of 4 or a group of friends. Accessed from the roof terrace the room has a tent like feel reminiscent of Aladdin’s tales and his flying carpet. This is a full suite located on the second floor within a separate part of the riad known as the douiria. Jazz Room

Chiquita Room

Our most requested room. Chiquita is the only guest room located on the Riad Star roof terrace, near to the Hammam and Massage room. Josephine’s pet Cheetah, Chiquita, famously joined her on stage at the Casino de Paris. A double or twin room (bed 190 by 160cm) a further single bed can be provided at an extra charge (£20). You will love the fireplace and the intricately decorated arch behind the bed.

Peace Room

This first floor room provides a tranquil and peaceful retreat complemented by a beautiful calm meditation pod. It can be interconnecting with the Liberty room. Josephine Room

Unusually for Marrakech this room has a window onto the street. It is believed the Pashah of Marrakech paid children to sit outside Josephine’s window and read for her while she was convalescing. A romantic double or twin (bed 190 by 150cm), with spacious en suite featuring shower and tub. Traditional Moroccan decor with 21st century comforts. Can be interconnecting with the Star room.

Charleston Room

The Charleston room transports you back to the roaring twenties. With separate sleeping area and sitting room this elegant mini suite is located on the ground floor patio, near the dipping pool. Double or twin (bed 200 by 150cm) the sofa can be made as a third bed at an extra charge (£20). The elegant decor is evocative of the Jazz age with hand made tasselled lampshades and a vintage statue of a flapper dancing.

Ebony Room

Ebony Room is the largest room at Riad Star, a full suite located on the first floor which can provide a luxury retreat for a couple or fabulous accommodation for a family of up to six people. Enter into the double height principal space, shown above with a double bed this can also be furnished as a living room. Enjoy the light from the central window and admire the traditional decorated plaster ceiling with intricately decorated Fez style lamps.

At the far end of the room under the mezzanine ceiling is a cosy sitting area with satellite TV and two sofas which can both be made beds. Off this area to the left is a doorway to the principal bathroom with its luxurious tub and concealed waterfall shower. On the right side of the sitting area a small staircase leads up to the private sleeping area (double or twin bed) there are curtains to close this area off at night time. The private sleeping area has its own conveniently placed toilet and shower room.

Up to four extra people can be accommodated at a cost of £20 each including breakfasts.

Ivory Room

A discreet internal staircase leads to a private sleeping area with a private shower room. Curtains can be drawn across for privacy. The luxurious Fez suite at Riad Cinnamon is inspired by the colours and style of the imperial cities of Morocco. It has a four poster bed (mattress 160cm by 2 metres) with intricate decorations hand carved from Cedar wood. The suite is conveniently located next to the pool and patio. It’s walls are an impressive one metre thick, entered through a door within a door. The shower room has a high vaulted ceiling, double sink and seat within the shower. Step out into a luxurious Egyptian cotton hooded robe. As with all our suites at Riad Cinnamon facilities include air conditioning, mini fridge, wifi and satellite TV. Your comfort is our priority.

Essaouira Suite

The decor in the intimate Essaouira suite is inspired by the romantic Moroccan port of the same name. Upstairs is the sleeping area which has a great view across to the decorated wood balcony of the Meknes suite and down into the Riad courtyard. The comfortable double bed is 160cm by 200cm. A pretty staircase leads along a balcony and down to the atmospheric sitting area. This part of the suite also has a nautical feel with intricate hand crafted copper and wrought iron decorations. The lamps in the luxurious Essaouira suite are beautifully decorated in the Fes style throwing shadows which further enhance the atmosphere at night time. The relaxed seating area houses a sofa which can be made up as a single bed. The bathroom is a real feature of this suite with it’s luxurious double sink and shower with cosy double ended mini bath- a real extravagance in water conscious marrakech.

Chefchaouen Suite

The Meknes Suite is the perfect retreat. One of our most spacious and luxurious rooms it features a comfortable queen sized bed (160cm by 190cm), a distinctive Menzeh balcony, and an upstairs snug equipped with flat screen tv. This fantastic suite even has its own fireplace. The suite has a generous en suite shower room with double sink. There is a spacious wardrobe and facilities include air conditioning, satellite TV, mini fridge and hairdryer. The magnificent Riad Roof terrace is easily accessible. The Menzeh is a traditional balcony overlooking the riad Courtyard with a intricately decorated wooden shutters. There is a wonderful quality of light through the turned wood ‘moucharabi’ decorations. Extra beds can be accommodated opposite the fireplace and/or up in the snug at a cost of £20 per person.

Casablanca Suite

The Casablanca suite is generously proportioned housing a luxurious queen sized bed (160cm by a full 2 metres) with an en suite shower room. Particular features include the decorated plaster work and niches in the wall finished with traditional polished tadelakt. There is a cosy and atmospheric upstairs snug equiped with a Sony Bravia flat screen tv with satellite channels. This area has a reduced ceiling height and is perfect for children. The snug can be made up with two single or one double bed meaning that the Casablanca suite can sleep four. The suite has a luxurious en suite shower room. A Douiria or ‘little house’ in a traditional Marrakech Riad is a separate suite with private access typically used by the head of the household to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our Casablanca Suite is a classic Douiria accessed by a discreet staircase in the corner of the courtyard.
